6.3 Engage with colleagues and improve practiceMichael is a PST who had his placement in the same school as me, he also teaches science and was doing Year 10 Physics. Michael had a couple chinese students who he believed would benefit from a translated copy of a assignment he wanted the class to complete. He approached me for help with the translation as he believed this would help the students understand the instructions, and requirements of the assignment better thus equipping them with equal the resources to successed. Although it was not my practice I was improving, I feel that Michael's practice did improve as he was able to find a resource to better communicate his requirements and expectation more efficiently to the students.
I met this standard by using peer and mentor feedback to improve my classroom management and delivery technique. |
